Breast Cancer does not discriminate. Having experienced this disease first hand, I personally know how it can turn your life inside out. You have to focus on time away from work and family, chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, and managing pain (as if that’s not enough, but it can also cause emotional and financial stress).
If I didn’t learn anything else from my experience, I learned the important things that money cannot buy (quality time with my loved ones).
Cancer Gave Me Life Foundation, Inc. has just created a new initiative “Myra Cares”, which will grant wishes for breast cancer patients (18 and over) whose life expectancy is 12 months or less. This initiative’s focus is to help patients find peace and closure with the blessing of a final personal wish, while creating precious memories with their loved ones.
Wishes may fall into one of the following four categories:
**All requests must be feasible and physically possible
Donate today and help Myra Cares inspire and uplift, while making unforgettable memories.
To apply for a wish for yourself or someone else, it requires a life-limiting breast cancer diagnosis, verified from a licensed physician and you may not already have had a wish granted by another organization. The patient must be under the doctor’s care at the time of the request submission. If you meet these requirements,
Please submit your request via email to: mharris@cancergavemelifefoundation.org.
Upon receipt of your email, a Myra Care’s Request Form will be sent to the requester for completion. Upon completion/approval, Myra Cares will start working on making your wish come true!
Note: this program is contingent - based on funding.
