Thanksgiving Joy for Breast Cancer Patients and Families

The Cancer Gave Me Life Foundation, Inc. made Thanksgiving extra special by providing Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes to breast cancer patients and their families in need this holiday season. Each box was filled with a delicious feast, including Smoked Turkey, Ham, Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, String Beans, Stuffing, Rolls, Pies, Cookies, and Sweet Tea or Lemonade.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at the Novant Health Cancer Institute Kemp Bessant Support Center for their help in packing the boxes and coordinating deliveries to families beyond the Charlotte area. A special shoutout goes to the Jubelo Lodge #619 Masonic Lodge of Raleigh for their generosity in donating the smoked turkeys and for going above and beyond with preparation, packaging, and delivering them from over two hours away.

Love Bags

2nd Love Bag Distribution - December 19, 2023

With heartfelt gratitude, we distributed 250 Love Bags to the the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital, Novant Hemby Children's Hospital and Novant Health Cancer Institute, with the incredible support of the City of Charlotte Fire Department. Starbucks Coffee generously provided coffee and pastries to the firemen and staff, adding warmth to our event.

In addition, Myra Harris, representing Cancer Gave Me Life Foundation, Inc., shared her inspiring story in an interview with WCNC Charlotte's, Jane Monreal. The interview aired on television on December 22, 2023.
